Resolved: DHgate - THIEVES
The issue was resolved via Netspend. They refunded the stolen funds. I will NEVER purchase anything via DHgate again.
I ordered a wig and the payment of $260.24 was accepted. 3 days later a mysterious charge appeared on my card for $269.35 from DHgate.
I spoke online to a live rep who was totally unhelpful. First she asked for a non-existent Transaction ID and even after I sent bank statements showing the money deducted she finally admitted that Customer Service does not refund money and that I had to have my bank refund my money. I had to file a dispute with my bank and now have to wait two weeks to "see" if my money will be refunded. In the interim, they locked my card.
On DHgate site there is no record of an additional transaction that the mystery charge was applied to so it is clear that the charge was made in error. However, DHgate refuses to admit its error and refund my money. I tried to get a refund for the item I did order and was advised that I have to wait for the seller to agree to the refund.
The item has not shipped so what is the problem?
Reason of review: Problems with payment.
Monetary Loss: $269.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
