DHgate is a dishonest company

well I chatted with DHgate today I found out that the tracking number is a fake number, the item the tracking number talks too was shipped a month before I made the purchase, so they are giving DHgate old information and DHgate is not making any concerted effort to fact check the information they get from their sellers. I applied for a refund, who knows what will happen next? I do not.

I purchased an item for $240.00 and chose DHL as the shipper. I paid the price for the DHL as directed by the site. I was told the item will arrive at the end of the year or in the first week. The supplier shipped the item by boat therefore the item will not arrive until the end of January. I contacted the company, they told me I can cancel and pay to ship the item back, the transaction became very murky at one point. I did a google search and learnt that the seller had sent another buyer an empty package, the buyer showed the package. I decided that since they lied to me on the onset that I did not want to wait a whole 6 weeks to run the risk that I may well get an empty package or an item which did not work or was not in the brand new quality I paid for. DHgate chatted with me twice and did nothing, in a very kindly manner. I contacted the seller and got zero response, the site told me that the seller had turned off his communication. Seems like I lost my money, they keep telling me they have my money, that they are holding it until I get the package a month later, the item is on a boat somewhere. I went to their facebook page, they told me to give them the information that they will take care of it, nothing happened I have spent so much time complaining. Why would I buy from them again?

I have updated my complaint, look for the update when the site posts it. I think what you are doing is actually counter productive, as I see your company spending a very large sum of money on advertising, but the sellers you shelter are causing clients to go mad.

I ordered an item, paid in advance simply because I wanted the item. I trusted you because of the statements you made on your site, unfortunately I was wrong. I am a first time buyer being a party to hurting me was not a wise thing to do, cutting the same branch on which you sit, is so very unwise. I noted the sellor is still selling the very product he did not deliver to me, and I paid in advance.

You are not deserving of any trust. I did not receive my item and I was given a fake tracking number, your association with this matter is totally a litigation issue, any lawyer can simply seek a Class Action lawsuit against for many millions of dollars based on all the wrongs you have committed on so many people worldwide. What you are doing makes no common sense at all. I would recommend that all of your clients report the issues to www.ic3.com for a start.

If you cannot stop this I do not think you can survive.

I like the pictures of the products you offer for sale, and I do need to buy a certain product. You have given me no incentive to think of granting you any pardon, you need to think about that.

Ha can't believe they just a lie and a fake web page they were tryna rob me more money more than what the price was. From my debit card thanks to my bank call me im getting that money back because they didn't send me what I buy but like I say im reporting this web page so can everyone dont get rob or trust this dam page ...... *** all yall ChinesChinese's

I have place an order on 11 Nov 2015, so far until now didn't receive my item yet. It's almost 60days.. First with getting an invalid tracking number. Then after few days seller asked to change other products because of stock unavailable.. Seller also ask me to top up if change with other products style. I open dispute then seller offer me back again with same product as i ordered. Seller also promised ship out by fast shipping. It been shipped out early of December 2015.. but 06 Dec 15 until now didn't update from shipping company.. feel terrible until i message to dhgate, there was no reply back from them. i have message to them by online message but once i told them my problem they directly turn down my line.

Dhgate - PAID and NEVER DELIVERED

I placed 4 orders on DHGATE and paid all in once according to their instructions. Total orders was USD 399.55. 3 orders were delivered but the biggest one (PO 31020586 value 230.32 USD) was claimed unpaid. The payment was made on Nov 14, 2015 (2015/11/14) and after all the Customer services and the Seller they all declined the responsibility putting forward several excuses (not the right Help centre, we haven't received the money, etc., waiting for your documents [which I provided 4 times] etc. etc.) SO far I am experiencing a complete deletion of my claim from the system and my money gone! DO NOT TRUST THEIR REFUND OR SECURITY POLICY. that's all I can suggest to every user!!!

Dhgate - Great Experience - Then not so great...

I bought over 100 antivirus keys to resell. Everything went smoothly. If there was an issue with the key, the vendor would replace the key for me for free and I made money off this. Since I did so well, and the keys worked with the software from the antivirus' ACTUAL website, I thought I'd try to resell something else. I bought $600 bucks worth of jump drives. That is close to 150 jump drives to be precise... EACH ONE WAS FAKE. It claimed to read a high amount, but after testing them with a software program, they proved to only hold 6-10GB. The sellers I bought from were PREMIUM and TOP SELLERS... If you can't trust the safe sellers, who can you trust on dhgate??? Btw, I just submitted a refund so I'm still waiting to hear back, but either way I am VERY upset...

Why do you leave this same message over and over? I've seen DOZENS of reviews saying they have tried contacting you numerous times....

Yet you respond with "please contact us". soooooooo happy I read these reviews before giving away my money for nothing but having my intelligence insulted.

I have a feeling this company will go belly up FAST. QUIT RIPPING PEOPLE OFF.
